We are here to strengthen the workforce through digital literacy.
The future is digital, and our communities are struggling to keep up.
Class Hacked recognizes the importance of learning through technology and strive to assist all people in unlocking their digital literacy and capabilities. Digital literacy is key to managing everyday life at all ages.
Some examples include: online learning modules, finances, safety and other educational tools.
We bring quality of life to anyone struggling with organization, competency, and efficiency through training on various digital programs and devices.
We serve:
"One-third of American workers lack digital skills."
"Ninety percent of the jobs in the United States by 2030 will require digital skills." - ThirdWay.org, "America's Digital Skills Divide"
The skill levels listed here from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) are sorted to easily see where support is needed. Using these levels, we can understand how digital literacy is vital for different populations.
Among US workers, Black and Hispanic
workers are overrepresented in the 1/3 of Americans that lack digital skills. Results show all populations with over half of people at or below Digital Skills Level 1.
Fewer boys graduate high school in the US compared to girls, which contributes to the lack of digital competency in a significant portion of our men going into the workforce.
Women with a lack of advanced digital skills are held back from high-wage jobs and benefits, including better pay, maternity leave, and child care.
To strengthen our workforce through digital learning, we have to start with individual people who need support. As we help people break barriers that hold them back, they will carry forward their impact on society and create lasting change through the skills they unlock. We guide our programming on helping individual people, meaning we keep Community Classes small to allow for as much individual support as possible.
The best people to bring change to society are already in our communities! Educators are the cornerstone of community learning and digital literacy. We want to empower educators to take charge of this change by teaching their skills in a new way. Many educators participate in training for their schools, and we want to support educators to branch out beyond the classroom to teach vital skills to people of all ages and make a bigger impact.
Whether our Class Hacked Trainers are leading in a community space like a library or recreational facility, or at a school that invites us in, we want to make it easy for our learners to find us. We guide our programming on helping ALL people participate with us, so we hold our Community Classes in easy-to-reach places at convenient times, or we go to the sites where we are needed.

Class Hacked is dedicated to financial transparency and putting our mission first when it comes to funding. As a non-profit organization, our funding goes directly to providing free support for digital literacy. The more we earn, the more we can give back to the communities who need us most.
